History

Villaggio Rurale Le Sette Querce is located in Monte Cesima, in a region where farming families have passed down trades and values for generations. Its name originates from the seven majestic oak trees that once surrounded the first farmhouse, which later became a small restaurant hall with outdoor spaces. These trees, silent witnesses of rural life, still symbolize the deep connection with the land and the solid traditions that the Peluso family shares with every guest.

Today, the Village extends over about 70 hectares of fields and woods, where the symbol of the oak tree blends ideally with that of the donkey—a tribute to what was once the primary means of transport for farmers and a testament to a rural life where respect for the land and the slow rhythm of nature have always been, and continue to be, at the heart of these places.

Walking along the village’s shaded paths, you will encounter breathtaking views of the Matese Mountains and expansive green landscapes where time seems to have stood still. Small stone-paved courtyards, blooming corners, and dry-stone walls invite you to slow down and enjoy the peace that surrounds everything.

Here, you can rediscover the pleasure of true conviviality—whether it’s a chat under the porch or a sunset viewed from the poolside, Le Sette Querce offers moments to cherish, remember, and share.
